Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Karachi and Salaam Takaful Limited (STL) signed a memorandum of understanding to provide Qarz-e-Hasna (interest-free loan) to students and build awareness about corporate world.
STL Managing Director and CEO Rizwan Hussain, and IBA Executive Director Dr. S. Akbar Zaidi, signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institutions, IBA release said on Friday.
The representatives of STL included Head of HR Noman Zaidi, Head of Marketing Farhan Sheikh and Deputy Manager, Shahryar Malik.
The IBA was represented by Director Corporate Relations and Resource Mobilization Malahat Awan, and Manager Resource Mobilization Sameer Khaleequzzaman.The STL has offered to provide Qarz-e-Hasna, scholarships and job opportunities to the students of Institute of Business Administration (IBA).
Malahat Awan explained various initiatives IBA has taken to facilitate the students to pursue their education.
