Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Engr Aamir Khattak directed to display a full size panaflex outside all DHQ, THQ and Specialized Health centres carrying the details of the health facilities provided in the said centres and also tests, medicines which are available free of cost for public. Likewise, the fee of ultrasound and others tests should also be mentioned.
He said that these measures will help to ensure that no patient was overcharged or unnecessarily referred to a private setups. Apart from this, there should also be panaflex outside government departments containing all the information of required documents to be attached with the application. It will help people to submit complete applications and get them processed promptly.
Engr Aamir Khattak said that he should visit government departments on coming week to check these panaflex.
These views were expressed by him while chairing review meeting of Divisional coordination committee here on Monday. Deputy Commissioner Coordination Syed Nazarat Ali, Director Local Government Sibtain Kazmi, MD Wasa Ashraf Khan, CEO RWMC Rana Safdar and other concerned officials attended meeting in person whereas DC Attock, Jehlum, Chakwal and Murree participated through video link.
Commissioner directed Additional Commissioner to devise such a mechanism through which it can be traced that when the specific application was received and how long it took to get processes from all concerned offices.
