Under the direction of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Industries, Commerce and Technical Education Muhammad Adnan Jalil, a high-level government delegation comprising officials from various subsidiaries of the Department of Industries and Commerce will represent the province in the conference starting from July 19 in the neighboring country of Afghanistan. Going to Kabul, in the said three-day conference organized in the name of Imam Abu Hanifa, the delegation of the province will inform the participants of the conference regarding the investment incentives in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and possible investments in the areas of interest.
It should be noted that the caretaker Minister of Industry was officially invited by Afghan Consul General Hafiz Mohibullah posted in Peshawar yesterday during the meeting, in the context of which he has directed the relevant officials of the department to participate in this conference. This will be the first time that relevant officers of the industrial sector from the province will visit Afghanistan for the purpose of promoting mutual investment.
In this regard, the caretaker minister said that the delegation of the province in the said conference will try to attract investors from Afghanistan for investment and business in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and due to the common trade routes, there are vast possibilities to increase the volume of trade between the two countries and our effort is to create facilities for trade and business activities on behalf of both countries. He said that the commercial markets of both countries are of great importance for each other from a business point of view and we need to use them for our economic stability. We should make full use of the opportunities, the caretaker minister further said that the geo-strategic scenario of the region requires us as neighboring countries to take full advantage of the regional trade opportunities to strengthen our economies, for which the countries of the region connect with each other through border trade.
