HBL PSL 9 season trophy unveiled

LAHORE – The trophy unveiling ceremony of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 9 took place in Lahore on Tuesday.

The HBL PSL 9 will be held in four cities: Karachi, Lahore, Multan, and Rawalpindi, with the final scheduled for March 18 at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium. Similar to the previous edition, PSL 9 will also be split into two legs, with matches played at Multan Cricket Stadium and Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium from February 17 to 27.

Following this, the action will shift to Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium and Karachi’s National Bank Stadium, where 16 matches will be played from February 28 to March 12. In the opening match, two-time champions and current title holders Lahore Qalandars from the 2016 and 2018 editions will face Islamabad United.

A highly anticipated showdown between Lahore Qalandars and Karachi Kings is scheduled for February 24 and March 9.

Gaddafi Stadium will host the match on February 24, while the fixture between Qalandars and Kings on March 9 will take place at the National Bank Stadium.

The teams like Karachi Kings, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, and Islamabad United will play five matches each at their respective home grounds, while Peshawar Zalmi will play four matches at the Pindi Cricket Stadium.

On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators will clash with Multan Sultans at the Multan Cricket Stadium on February 25 and will play three matches each in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi.
