Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Hanif Abbasai has offered professional training courses to the employees and workers of various restaurants, bakery shops and food outlets in order to improve their services and also to maintain hygiene level.

He expressed these views during a meeting with President Rawalpindi Restaurants Caterers Sweets and Bakers Association Muhammad FarooqChaudhry and Chairman Mumtaz Ahmed.

According to the MNA Hanif Abbasi, professional courses will be conducted at the government level for the employees and workers of the food sector.

Both Chaudhry Farooq and Mumtaz Ahmed welcomed the announcement and said there were thousands of workers and employees associated directly and indirectly with the food sector and such professional courses would improve their skills also.

They discussed in detail problems being faced by the food sector.

Abbasi said the government would provide professional courses to the employees related to the food sector at the government expense so that the people related to the food sector could be employed not only in Pakistan but also outside the country.

He said that the food sector provided employment mostly to the skilled people and for this regular classes would be started in the technical colleges of the government.

He also encouraged the restaurants, caterers and bakers and sweets association to visit technical colleges and discuss sorting out all the necessary details in this regard.

I shall request Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to kindly approve this initiative and I am sure he would gladly give his assent. Our trained skilful force in the food sector has the potential to achieve success not only in Pakistan but also abroad, he commented.

President Restaurant Caterers Sweets and Bakers Association Muhammad Farooq Chaudhry and Chairman Mumtaz Ahmed expressed gratitude to MNA Hanif Abbasi for the offer and assured their support in this regard.
