PTI Central Leader Haleem Adil Sheikh wrote a letter to the Home Department seeking details of arms licenses issued by the Sindh government to thousands of unrelated persons. In a video statement, Haleem Adil Sheikh said that thousands of unrelated persons have been issued arms licenses by the Sindh government without any verification. “From 2018 to today, all the details should be provided.” Haleem Adil Sheikh said in a video statement that even before this, the Sindh government had issued lakhs of arms licenses to the people of Lyari gang war. These licenses were given to the Lyari gang war to carry out targeted killings and to destabilize the civil war. At present, the PPP wants to form its own militia by considering Sindh as its fiefdom. There is a fear among the common people that the PPP is issuing licenses through its elected and unelected persons without fulfilling the formalities. The situation in Sindh would not have been so bad today if the pen of Chief Minister Sindh had been bold enough to issue basic arms to the citizens.
