District Education Authority Hafizabad has reopened ancient government girls high school No 1, Hafizabad formally, on Thursday which was closed more than ten years ago situated in the heart of the city Hafizabad. Education Authority and DC Hafizabad, Toqeer Ilyas Cheema and CEO District Education Authority Hafizabad Javeed Iqbal Babar jointly inaugurated the school. Project Director Danish School Authority Punjab Ahmer Malik, Superintendent District Jail Hafizabad Muhammad Abu Bakar Abdullah, AC Coordination Ishfaq Ahmad, DO Abdul Majeed, Headmistress Nagmana Hayyat, DDEO Nargis Arif, DDEO Pindi Bhattian Sofia Jabeen, Principal Centre of Excellence Shaista Ahmer, education officers and other prominent personalities of the city also attended the function.
Addressing the ceremony, Babar Hayyat Tarar said that restoration of this historic school was a big achievement of DC and CEO Education and this school was an ideal educational institution which was famous for its quality education and other co-curriculum activities in the area. With reopening of this school would provide cheap educational opportunities to daughters of poor.
