Govt’s priority to wipe out pollution: Rizwan

Punjab Minister for Environment, Bao Muhammad Rizwan on Thursday said that it was topmost priority of PM Imran to wipe out pollution from the country. He expressed these views while addressing Smog-related meeting at DC Office Sialkot. He said that the government would take stern action against all those industries and bricks kilns which added environmental pollution. “To fire wastage of rice crops was a crime. The government has imposed section 144 and violates would be arrested in this regard,” he added. The minister said that the government has issued directives to all related departments to take action against all those factors which increased environmental pollution. He said that the people have to take responsibility to make atmosphere clean for next generation. Bao Rizwan said that we should have to grow more and more plants to avoid environmental pollution. He said that Punjab government has took number of steps to control Smog and directed health administration to keep medicines of Smog related diseases.
