Caretaker Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that the government was working on the up-gradation of hospitals across the province in a phased manner.
Addressing media along with Inspector General Police Usman Anwar in Rawalpindi here on Friday, he said the up-gradation of police stations is also underway.
The Chief Minister said development projects of Rawalpindi including Ring Road and up-gradation of the Holy Family Hospital is our priority. He said Kachehri Chowk Rawalpindi project is also under consideration. To a question, Mohsin Naqvi said funds have been released for the renovation of Lahore Metro Bus track while the Rawalpindi-Islamabad Metro Bus track will also be revamped soon.
Earlier, Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar visited the under construction offices of Special Initiative Police Station Race Course .IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar and other officers inspected the under completion construction work. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar ordered to complete all the construction work within the stipulated timeline. IGP Punjab said that the supervisory officers should complete the construction work as soon as possible under personal supervision and there should be no compromise on the quality standard of the construction work. IG Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar ordered to complete the ongoing construction work in police stations and other police offices of Lahore too.
