Akhunzada Fazle Haq Mardan
Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Shehzad Khan Bangash visited the archeological Takht Bhai ruins.
Dr. Shehzad Khan Bangash, Chief Secretary, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, while visiting the archeologi-cal ruins, said that the present government agency was taking far-reaching steps to preserve the antiq-uities and increase the interest of foreign and local tourists in it.
More facilities and conveniences will be created for tourists in the historical ruins of Takht Bhai of in-ternational importance.
On this occasion Commis-sioner Mardan Division Syed Abdul Jabbar Shah, DIG Mardan Region Yasin Farooq, Additional Commissioner Mardan Naeem Akhtar, Deputy Commissioner Mardan Habibullah Arif, Deputy Commissioner Swabi Sanaullah Khan, Director General Archeology Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Ab-dul Samad Khan, Assistant Commissioner Takht Bhai Zain Ali Raza and other senior officials were also present.
On the occasion, Director General Archeology Dr. Abdul Samad Khan gave a detailed briefing to the delegation about the historical monuments. The delegation inspected various monuments of the ruins.
Expressing keen interest, Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Dr. Shehzad Khan Bangash said that the ruins of Takht Bhai have been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO due to its inter-national fame. This has made it even more impor-tant.
The present government has taken important and revolutionary steps to promote tourism. This is significantly increasing the country’s sources of income. Not a minute will be spared for the protec-tion of historical heritage.
