Governor visits Khyber Girls Medical College

Governor Khyber Pakhtunkhwahaji Ghulam Ali has said that extracurricular activities give rise to positive trends in students, extracurricular activities are indispensable for the youth along with education as they give the youth courage and dedication to work hard adding Students can improve their skills by participating in various competitions.

He expressed these views while addressing the opening ceremony of Blossom Festa Fun Fair and Pet Show as a special guest on the occasion of his visit to Khyber Girls Medical College Peshawar on Wednesday. Chairman Board of Governor Ghulam Qadir Khan, College Dean Zahdaman, Faculty member students and others participated in the event. Medals, appreciation certificates and cash prizes were also distributed among the position takers. The Governor inspected the various stalls set up by the students in the Fun Fair, encouraged the students to set up stalls containing food and drinks and other items and put in the college.—Staff Reporter
