Governor receives flood relief goods sent by Turkey

Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tesuri on Wednesday received the relief goods from Turkey from Turkish Consul General Cemal Sangu. The relief items include blankets, warm clothes for winter, food items and daily necessities. These goods will be distributed to flood victims by NDMA.

Talking to the media on this occasion, Governor Sindh said that Turkey has helped us in every difficult time, Pakistan and Turkey are one and the same, after the recent floods, the first relief goods came from Turkey. The people of Pakistan are grateful to Turkey for their help in every natural calamity.

On this occasion, the Consul General of Turkey said that the people of Turkey love Pakistan immensely, Pakistan is alive and well, Pakistan is a lesson to every child of Turkey.

It should be noted that Turkey has sent relief goods to the flood victims, 864 tons of relief goods arrived at Karachi port by the first ship that arrived on Wednesday. The second ship will arrive on February 4 with 900 tons of relief supplies.
