Says practical measures being taken for real development of province

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar on Saturday declared that the incumbent government has been striving hard to ensure sustainable development across Punjab and now no one can create hindrance in the journey of real change.

“MNAs and MPAs of Punjab are my companions and their legitimate demand for development schemes will be fulfilled at all costs.”

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar was talking with members National Assembly including Ghulam Bibi Bharwana, Amir Talal Gopang, Raza Nasrullah and Ahmed Hussain who called on him here on Saturday.

Matters regarding mutual interests, overall political scenario and various development projects came under discussion during the meeting.

The elected representatives apprised the chief minister of various ongoing developmental schemes in their respective constituencies.

The chief minister said that these projects would be completed within the stipulated time frame. Usman Buzdar further stated that the opposition has only obstructed the journey of public service.

“These people have no any agenda for public service and they are only trying to safeguard their interest and plundered public money.

These people have failed before and will meet the same fate in the future as well. The government will complete its tenure,” he declared.

Meanwhile, MPAs from different districts including Nadeem Qureshi, Mamoon Tarar, Niaz Hussain Khan, Javed Akhtar Lund and others called on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at CM’s secretariat here.

They apprised the chief minister of the progress on different ongoing and new developmental projects in their respective constituencies. The Chief Minister said that development projects would be completed with the consultation of public representatives.

Usman Buzdar said that due importance is given to the proposals of elected representatives in the formulation and completion of development projects.

The Chief Minister said the government is monitoring the developmental projects, especially in the neglected and ignored areas.

He said that development is the right of every town, village and city. Usman Buzdar said that he is visiting every district and city to review the problems and he will go to every tehsil, district for the redressal of peoples’ grievances.

He said that former rulers believe in merely lip-service but the incumbent government is taking practical measures for the real development of the province. No one will be allowed to create hurdles in the process of progress and prosperity.

The government will fulfill its promise to put the Punjab on the road to progress. He said that the government, according to the vision of PM Imran Khan, is introducing positive changes in every sector of life for bringing real joy in the lives of the people.

MPAs while talking on this occasion said that Usman Buzdar cares for the people and his decision to visit every nook and corner of the province is a positive step.

They said that Punjab is changing and positive changes are being taken place in the remote areas as Chief Minister Usman Buzdar is trying to resolve the problems of the people.

On the notice of Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar, the police have registered a case and arrested the accused namely Peer Masoom Imam involved in setting a mentally retarded woman ablaze in Tiba Sultan Pur. The Chief Minister directed to provide the best medical facilities to the affected woman.
