President Arif Alvi on Saturday met with Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar and Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar at Governor’s House.
During the meeting various matters including current prevailing political situation and government’s affairs were discussed.
The Punjab Governor and Chief Minister briefed the President about public welfare projects and other steps taken by the government to facilitate the people.
Talking on the occasion, President Arif Alvi said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government was working day and night for welfare of the people and to steer the country out of all crises including economic. He stressed the need for national unity and solidarity to address current prevailing situation in the region including Kashmir issue and said that those who wanted to create unrest in the country would be foiled.
