ISLAMABAD – United Arab Emirates (UAE) has become a major business hub in the region, and its major metropolises have developed into global centers for trade and businesses. To deal with huge businesses, and to cut down cost, tech giants and other firms are now looking to take the help of freelancers.
Amid the transforming world, remote working saw major development in recent times, with the trend accelerating significantly due to pandemic, and companies now made a framework to operate remotely allowing their employees to work from home or other locations, offering flexibility and often leading to cutting expenditure.
Following these trends, companies in the United Arab Emirates are looking to hire freelancers from Asia, other Middle East nations, and South Africa, but with lower salaries as compared to permanent employees working in the Emirates.
The sectors targeted for freelancers will be mainly sales, technology, data management, and marketing. Reports also suggest vacancies in customer service, consultancy, communication, creative design, software engineering, data analysis, and recruitment.
The senior officials hinted that high level of expertise and technical skills will be required to bag remote roles.
People interested in these roles can apply for remote work visas through the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA).
Salary scale for remote employees is linked to job responsibilities, expertise, and company policy.
