KARACHI – Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a huge drop in the local market in the wake of a huge drop in the international market.
Data shared by Sarafa association suggest the price of single tola of 24-carat yellow metal moved down by Rs 6,000, hovering around Rs 217,000. The 22-carat gold stays at Rs 198,917.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold stands at Rs 186,043, whereas the 22-karat gold is currently being traded at Rs170,539.
Globally, gold prices stayed at $2026 per ounce, moving down by $6.74.
Silver Rates in Pakistan
Silver prices on the other hand also dropped marginally, moving down to Rs2,624 per tola and Rs2266 per 10 grams.
