KARACHI – Gold prices remained unchanged in Pakistan on Thursday despite downward trend in international market.
According sarafa association, the per tola gold price remained unchanged as Rs213,700 and per 10-gram price as Rs183,213.
In international market, the price of the precious metal dropped by $13 to 2,032 per ounce.
Meanwhile, the silver price also remained unchanged at Rs2,600 per tola and Rs2,229.08 per 10 grams.
A day earlier, Gold prices in Pakistan witnessed a negative trajectory amid a drop in the international market.
Data shared by the Sarafa association shows a substantial drop in gold prices on January 17, 2024. With massive drop, current rate of bullion stands at Rs213,700 per tola for 24 karate gold.
For 10-gram, the price of yellow metal plummets by Rs3,087 to Rs183,213. The 22-carat gold stays at Rs 198,917.
