ISLAMABAD – Gold prices in Pakistan surged to record high on Friday amid rising global prices due to higher demand of the commodity.
According to Sarafa Association, per tola gold price surged by Rs2,400 to reach all-time high of Rs257,300 in local market.
The price of 10-gram gold also surged by whooping Rs2,057 to settle at Rs220,593.
The precious commodity also saw a massive increase in its prices in international market where per ounce price surged by $26 to hit $2,458.
