Gold prices gained some positive traction on the last trading day of the week and recovered a part of the overnight slump to the lowest level since August 11.
At 1320 hours GMT, gold in the international mar-ket was available at $1,748.20 per ounce after gain-ing $4.30.
Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of yellow metal in Pakistan decreased to Rs94,900 after shedding Rs600. The closing prices of the yellow metal in the country remained Rs95,500 on Thursday last.
The decrease in local gold prices was also due to over-night change in gold price when the local market was closed.
