Gold on record-breaking spree in Pakistan – Check latest rates on August 22

ISLAMABAD – Gold prices in Pakistan hit new highs on Thursday, August 22, amid rising demand for the commodity in local and international markets.

According to sarafa association, per tola gold price surged to record high of Rs261,800 after it registered gains of Rs800, whereas, the price of 10-gram moved up by Rs686 to settle at Rs224,451.

A day earlier, per tola gold price increased by Rs300 to settle at Rs261,000, hitting another high in local market. Similarly, the price of 10-graim moved up by Rs257 to settle at Rs223,765.
