KARACHI — Pakistan continues to support the country’s Christian and other minority communities, especially during major religious celebrations, and this time, salaries and pensions of Christian government employees will be paid earlier.
Sindh government announced a heartwarming initiative to ensure these communities are recognized, supported, and allowed to celebrate their religious festivals with zeal.
A notification issued by the provincial government confirmed that advance payments will be disbursed on December 18. This initiative is expected to help Christian employees meet their holiday expenses and enjoy the festivities without delay.
Christian community is excited to celebrate Christmas with traditional zeal. Special church services will be held across cities like Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, and Peshawar, with homes and stores decorated with lights and stars.
Every year, churches used to be adorned with Christmas trees and lights to celebrate event and people exchange gifts, attend church services, and decorate their homes.
