On the directives of PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the Sindh Chief Minister has announced financial assistance for the victims of Ghotki and Khuzdar tragedies,said Minister for InformationNasir Hussain Shah on Tuesday.
He said that R. 500,000 each will be given to the heirs of victims of Ghotki railway accident while Rs. 100,000 each to the injured persons.
Nasir Shah added that no one had provided financial assistance to the residents of Sindh who fell victim to road accident which occurred few days back in Khuzdar area of Balochistan.
He informed the media that Sindh government has also decided to provide financial assistance to victim families and those injured in Khuzdar tragedy.
Nasir Shah said that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was well aware of the sufferings of the people, while those who beat drums of Ehsaas Program has extended no support for families affected by accidental deaths.
The Minister added that they were awaiting that federal government might realize it’s responsibility and move forward to extend help to affectees of Ghotki train tragedy and Khuzdar road accident. “But these insensitive people have no concern for the sufferings of common people.”
