Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Climate Change, Malik Amin Aslam has said that Germany will extend technical and financial support to Pakistan for implementation of various environmental and climate change-related initiatives.
In a statement issued here on Sunday, he said that Germany’s joining of hands with Pakistan against adverse impacts of climate change will enhance our resilience and capability to fight this challenge
. The global climate action was launched by the world community under the 2015 global Paris climate agreement for staving off socio-economic deleterious impacts of global warming.
Malik Amin Aslam hoped that the steps taken by the government of Pakistan will lessen the negative impacts of the environment changes on both human, animals and vegetarian life.—INP
