WITH the improvement in technologies, news reporting on war has changed. Now people can watch actual videos and images of every war battle with all its blood and gore, uncensored, very easily. Over the past few years, the world has seen many wars. After the USA led wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, we saw wars in Syria, Turkiya, Yemen, Armenia, Ukraine and now in Palestine.
Seeing the death and destruction, the people of these countries had to face, and continue to face, one has to wonder, how can humans be so cruel and evil to kill babies, children, women, doctors and civilians in such a systematic and merciless way? Can these be ideological or religious differences that is causing such hatred and such horrific killing of fellow humans?
But the reality is that all these wars are caused and funded by greed. Having worked in the supply chain field for decades I know that wars can be costly. Except the handful of superpower nations, most countries do not have fuel and weapons storage to maintain war for more than a month. Therefore they need to spend huge amounts of funds to buy, transport, store and distribute all the things their armies need for maintaining the war.
Take the example of Ukraine and Russia’s ongoing war. Both countries have ran out of weapons, vehicles, personnel and ammunition many times and other nations had to rush in with supplies to help sustain the war for both of them. In the case of Ukraine, it has been reported many times that they have been provided funds and equipment worth +200 billion $ in the 1.5 years of war. Special cargo planes were used to create an air bridge to move tanks and ammunition to Ukraine from thousands of miles away and within a few days. (Unfortunately when humanitarian aid has to be moved than logistics take much longer)
Therefore to wage war means to burn huge amounts of funds. And no one in their right mind would keep on burning such funds in war after war, without making a higher profit some other way. And once we understand who is making this profit on wars, we would realize who is funding and even instigating these wars that are killing babies and civilians around the World.
All the wars that have happened or are happening in Palestine, Israel, Yemen, Syria, Ukraine, Russia, Turkiya, Lebanon, Armenia, Pakistan and Central Asia in the past few years is for the control of Gas and LNG Energy supply routes. A few nations have banded together to create a new energy supply route towards Europe, in competition to Iran’s proposed gas pipeline to Europe via Syria, while also stopping the supply of gas energy from Russia to Europe.
The new gas energy supply route will begin in Saudi Arabia, move into Israel and then into Turkiya and then connect with Europe. For this to work it was important to create friendship between Saudi Arabia and Israel, destroy all the competing ports that can be used for LNG ships near Israel, clear borders in Turkiya for LNG pipe construction, stop the future planned supply from Iran to Europe via Syria and also stop the supply of gas from Russia to Europe via Ukraine. And all these wars that have killed millions of civilians, helped achieve these targets.
Although each country that has waged war in the past few years has claimed some ideological or land dispute as the reason for the war, but in reality the war was only fueled at full fury when the need for creating conditions suitable for completing the above targets was required.
As a human being when I realized that the greed for profits from this new gas pipeline connection was the real reason for the death of innocent people from so many countries and races, I was disgusted. Besides trained young soldiers losing their lives, so many children and civilians have also lost their lives in these wars for controlling gas supply to Europe.
I, therefore, request the media to promote this reality to the people of the world. So that the illusions of hatred can be removed and the main instigators of this destruction are highlighted and their plans to construct this gas pipeline are destroyed. And that people of the world may learn from this deadly history and fight against such illusions to create wars in the future. And by revealing this truth, we may be able to end the ongoing war in Palestine and Ukraine and save people from unnecessary deaths.
