A tragic incident occurred at Karachi’s Manora Beach, where four people, including two women, drowned. Rescue efforts are still underway to recover the remaining two missing individuals.
According to a police spokesperson, the incident happened between huts 65 and 67, and so far, the bodies of the two women have been recovered. Rescue teams continue to search for the others still unaccounted for. In a separate incident at Hawke’s Bay, six people were reported to have drowned while swimming. Rescue teams managed to recover the body of one individual and rescued four others.
The police stated that among those saved, a woman and a man were in critical condition, receiving urgent medical attention. The authorities have urged the public to exercise caution while swimming in dangerous areas, as both beaches have seen multiple incidents in recent months.
