Chief of his own faction of Jamiat-e-Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) Maulana Fazl ur Rehman has said forces trying to impose western agenda will not exceed in their designs as JUI with the help of people would frustrate their designs.
“We will block their way and defeat the anti-Islamic forces with the power of vote in the February 8 General Elections”. The former president of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) declared while addressing an election rally in Bannu on Sunday.
Maulana Fazl said, who has vehemently been educating to delay the forthcoming polls, reiterated the security and law & order situation was worst in the country. He said things will get streamlined and the economic situation will automatically get improved once peace is restored in the country.
The JUI Chief said Afghanistan used to be a prosperous country yet insecurity and unemployment has ruined that country, apprehending Pakistan was confronting the same situation which is alarming.
“We all will have to think about what leads to the unrest in the country. Why are we being stopped from going to some areas, why are we being stopped from coming closer to the masses even in the electioneering”, the JUI Supremo asked.
Coming hard on the PTI Supremo and the former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, Fazl said he sold the watch received as a gift in India. He also accused him of ‘receiving funds from Israel”.
Maulana Fazl, however, said there will be no “joy” in the forthcoming elections without the founder of PTI Imran Khan.
Maulana Fazl said that since the 1970s Bannu people have been supporting the JUI-F. “The love of people here for JUI has increased with the time and they would vote for the party in the coming elections”, he claimed.
