Pakistan Observer had a special place in the field of journalism, the establishment of bureau office in Gilgit-Baltistan is a well come development, it will play positive role in highlighting GB.
This was observed by Secretary Information Gilgit-Baltistan Fida Hussain talking to this scribe here on Tuesday. We are trying to promote media industries, thus we established districts Press Clubs in GB, said Fida Hussain.
He also described that we have founded Press Foundation (PF) for journalists to provide basic needs and financial support. PF bill has been passed in GB Assembly.
In responding to a question Secretary Information Fida Hussain said that Information Department has already been working for the distribution of advertisement and payments of bills.
