The Federal Government Educational Institutions (FGEI), Cantts and Garrison Directorate has decided to take services of Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for preparation of software on Human Resource Management Information System (HRMIS) and Schools Information System (SIS).
The objective of this project is to develop the basis for FGEIs (C/G) to improve its efficiency through the automation of manual and repetitive tasks. In order to automate Human Resource processes, a technology-based solution has to be devised.
That will not only maintain an updated and accurate electronic repository of employees’ personal files records, transfer & posting records, inquiry details, training details, evaluations, promotions details, ACR’s, managing payrolls, retirement & pension system etc.
The project will also help FGEIs to reducing paper shuffling, and identify the long-term best uses of human talent by focusing the attention on more strategic roles like talent forecast, pipeline succession, and more.—INP
