Lieutenant General Syed Tariq Nadeem Gilani, Hilal-e-Imtiaz (Military), (Retired), Managing Director Fauji Foundation has said that Fauji Foundation is committed to provide best facilities, particularly in health and education to the ex-servicemen and their families. He added that with time FF is expanding its scope of services to include maximum beneficiaries in our welfare net.
He said this while distributing annual awards among best teachers, students, and employees of the foundation in an impressive ceremony held here in Rawalpindi on Saturday, which was attended by a large number of officials, beneficiaries and their families.
Addressing to annual awardees, he stated that since 1954 Fauji Foundation is providing best health care, educational, technical and vocational training and services to the ex-servicemen and their families. Fauji Foundation is proud that more than 80 percent of its income goes to serve about 9.4 million beneficiaries (5 % of country’s population).
He added that in coming years Fauji Foundation is establishing more health and educational amenities in far-flung districts of the country to fulfill our commitment to deliver the best health care and education to our beneficiaries.
Raising FF contribution for the health of the people, M.D Fauji Foundation said that we have opened twenty new health clinics to provide the best health facilities to people at their doorstep. Managing Director announced that Cath labs in Peshawar and Rawalpindi Hospitals are going to build soon, however, a Dialysis center in Lahore, will Insha Allah start work by the end of this month. About Sindh he said, beside FFH Karachi, we have established a hospital in Tando Allahyar to provide health services to the people of far flung areas of the province.
A total of 187 staff and students have been awarded by the foundation on their excellent performance in their respective fields.
