Painting exhibition titled “Beautiful Pakistan” was organized by Punjab Arts Council (PAC) in connection with Independence Day celebrations here on Monday.
Director General, Parks and Horticulture Authority Rawalpindi Mr. Ahmad Hassan Ranjha who was chief guest of the exhibition while speaking on the occasion said that Punjab is a talismanic region of culture and traditions. He said that Allah Almighty has blessed Pakistan with attractive natural landscapes, beautiful valleys, historical heritage and fascinating cultural tradition. Ranjha said that Punjab, the land of five rivers, is rich in heritage, natural scenery, tourism to religious places, historical places and buildings, culture, fairs, festivals, wonderful traditions, rare wildlife and flowers. Addressing the participants, Naheed Manzoor said the arts will always flourish in the Arts Council. The Arts Council has always promoted new talent. She said that Pakistani youth are endowed with natural talent. Encouraging young artists brings out the best in their work. Artists trained by the Arts Council have made Pakistan famous all over the world, she added.
Director Arts Council Waqar Ahmed said that everything between the earth and the sky is created by Allah. The artists captured the beautiful views of nature in colors. Colors do not need a language.
