In successful operations against drug peddlers in Karachi, the Excise Narcotics Control team apprehended notorious dealers GulRehman and Abdul Qadeer near Fatima Jinnah Park on MalirCantt Road. A significant seizure of ten and a half kilograms of hashish was made from their possession. Similarly, in Korangi, the team arrested LalMarjan, son of Janan, another notorious drug dealer, during an operation on FarooqAzam Road. Marjan was found in possession of 25 kilograms of hashish, contained in 50 packets. Authorities have registered cases against all accused individuals. Sindh Senior Minister SharjeelInamMemon commended the Excise Narcotics Control Team for their successful operations against drug trafficking. Memon stressed the importance of mobilizing youth against the drug menace through awareness campaigns and active participation. Highlighting the collective responsibility in combating drug abuse, Memon emphasized the role of each individual in fostering a drug-free society.
