Special Assistant to CM on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that under the leadership of PM Imran Khan, the government is making all-out effort to end hereditary politics and that day is not far off when people will be free from clutches of dynastic politicians.
She said that a cabal of cronies is lying day and night just to please and defend the corruption of Calbri Queen. Those who are soaked in corruption cannot escape from the court of people by mudslinging on the government. While seeing tightening of noose round the corrupt elements, the opposition is making hue and cry. She said that PDM is an alliance of rejected elements, who are neither faithful nor loyal to the country. These views were expressed by Special Assistant to Chief Minister on Information Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan while addressing the media in Gujranwala.
She said that the people of Pakistan have rejected the treacherous narrative of opposition. The opposition’s only agenda is to create chaos and unrest in the country. Those who filled their coffers by plundering and looting cannot hoodwink the innocent people of Pakistan anymore.
Commenting about Maulana Fazlur Rehman, she said that the opposition should join hands with the government to battle the second wave of corona and for implementation of the standard operative procedures (SOPs) to prevent corona instead of holding rallies. The number of Coronavirus cases is increasing with each passing day therefore I suggest the opposition not to put people’s lives at stake, she added.
Meanwhile, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said that every Muslim loves his beloved Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) more than anything else in the world and is ready to even sacrifice his life for Him. The government observed “Shane Rehmatul Lil Alameen” week not for any political or personal interest or benefit but out of love with Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) Who is a source of light and guidance for the entire humanity. She said that the dedication, passion and love with which people of Punjab celebrated “Shane Rehmatul Lil Alameen” week have no precedent.
She said that one week is not enough to describe the greatness of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWW) Who is a mercy for mankind. She said that different activities were organized by the provincial government including Mehil-e-Milad, Naat & Qirat competition, Naatia Musharia, Ulma Mushaikh conference, calligraphy exhibition, quiz and debate competitions, Mehfil-e-Sama etc. in connection with “Shane Rehmatul Lil Alameen” week across the province.
The Special Assistant to CM also addressed the closing ceremonies organized at Kamoke, Muridke, Gujranwala, Daska & Sialkot on the last day of “Shane Rehmatul Lil Alameen” week.
She said that the United Nations must decide code of conduct on the publication of blasphemous sketches in France and equal punishments should be proposed for those who use derogatory remarks and do any such offence against any of the Prophets. Later, she gave away commendatory certificates and cash prizes among the position holder students of reciting Naat, debates and quiz competitions in a ceremony held at Government Girls Degree College Daska and also participated in Mehfil Sama at Sialkot.
