Four minors of a family were killed, while their parents suffered serious injuries in a road accident here at bypass road, Chichawatni.
According to Rescue-1122 on Thursday Muhammad Arshad, r/o Chak 731-GB along with his wife and four children, was travelling by donkey cart when a speeding tractor trolley coming from opposite direction hit the vehicle near 39/12L.Consequently, Arshad and his wife Nooran Bibi suffered serious injuries and shifted to THQ hospital.
Four children including Sanam (8), Tafeer (6), Wajid (4) and another were killed on the spot.
Swabi: A primary school teacher along with his maternal grandfather was killed when opponents fired at them in Moza Tarlandi here on Thursday over a dispute related to wheat crop.
Kalu Khan police said school teacher, Sajjad Ali along with brothers Shah Hussain, Bacha Sayyed and grandpa Shamoon were farming in fields when their opponents including Sanaul Haq, Wilayat Ameenul Haq and Ehsanul Haq sons of Khan Sahib started firing at them.
As a result of firing Sajjad Ali and his grandpa Shamoon were killed while Shah Hussain, Bacha Sayyed and Adnan were critically injured. Kalu Khan police after registering a case, started investigating the incident.
Meanwhile, in Sheikh Jana area of the district, a young mobile-phone dealer was shot dead during a verbal brawl on an issue related to kite flying in the area.
