Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Tuesday shared Forms 45, along with other documents on its website, nearly four weeks after General Election 2024.
Form-45 – the basic document that referred to result of the vote count – was shared amid allegations of widespread rigging and result tampering.
The polls body shared the election forms for all provincial and national assembly constituencies nearly two weeks after the deadline of February 22.
ECP cited issues in meeting the legal deadline of sharing Form-45 due to various reasons, including the arrival of 300 petitions concerning discrepancies between forms 45 and 47 as ordered by high courts.
Imran Khan’s Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf decried mandate theft saying the elections and that results were altered in Form 47s. The party claimed to have bag 180 NA seats based on Form 45.
