Earthquake shakes Swat, parts of KP

Strong earthquake of 5.3 magnitude struck several parts of northwest Pakistan, including Swat, Malakand, and adjacent areas in KPK on Tuesday

National Seismic Monitoring Centre said data earthquake originated around border of Tajikistan and Afghanistan and its epicentre was around 110km deep in Hindu Kush region.

The tremors were felt in Mingora, Bajawar, Dir, Buner, Shangla, and other cities.

No damage of human life and infrastructure has been reported so far.
