Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Umer Faarooq Warraich directed the construction company to ensure completion of Gujranwala-Kot Sarwar Motorway Interchange from Hafizabad to Kot Sarwar by the end of current fiscal year for providing better communicational facilities to people.
He issued these directions while inspecting different ongoing development projects being completed with the cost of more than 25 billion, on Thursday. DC visited under construction Gujranwala-Kot Sarwar Motorway Interchange Road with the cost of ten billion of rupees, Hafizabad-Pindi Bhattian Road, Khankhah Dogaran to Kaleki Road, Hafizabad to Khankhah Road, Girls College Kaleki, District Office Fisheries, new building of District Police Office etc. and reviewed pace of work on ongoing development projects. He also directed the constructors to ensure completion of all the projects according to specification and to use quality material while executing the projects.
He warned that unjustified delay and use of substandard material in construction work would be not tolerated.
