On the 16th day of the ongoing Pakistan Theatre Festival in Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, the Theatre plays “Social Pagal” and “The Father” were presented in Urdu language. Social Pagal was written and directed by Shah Fahad. Among the artists SarmadAftab, SherbanuRahmani, GulshanMajeed, Hassan Raza, MishalChaudhry, ZainQazi, Haris Ahmad Khan and Mohammad Ghazi Abid performed in the play.
Drama takes viewers through the journey of six psychopaths who confront their demons in prison as they are confined to an obscure realm where life imprisonment is considered the cure for their insanity, a battle of wits ensues and theatre play “The Father” is written by Florian Zeller and directed by ZeeshanHaidar.
The cast of the drama included GhulamMohiuddin, Abdul Rehman, AlinaGulzar, Saima, Zobi and Owais. The drama depicts an old man grappling with a reality beyond his understanding, his daughter’s well-intentioned support meets resistance.
