Provincial Minister for Human Rights Ejaz Alam Augustine has taken notice of disgracing women in the limits of Millat Town police station and directed the City Police Officer (CPO) for arresting the accused involved in the incident and awarding them strict punishment.
According to the district administration, the minister said that violation of human rights in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf government would not be tolerated at any cost.
The minister said that no one would be allowed to take law into hands and dishonor the women.
Meanwhile, CPO Dr Muhammad Abid briefing the minister said that three accused involved in the incident had been arrested while raids were being conducted to arrest the others. He assured the minister that stern punishment would be awarded to the accused.
