Directorate of Electronic Media and Publications (DEMP) hosted a digital photography and painting exhibition to express Pakistan’s solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir and to honor the Kashmiris who lost their lives in the conflict on February 2, 2024, at the Information Service Academy (ISA), Zero Point, and Islamabad.
The Federal Secretary for Information & Broadcasting, ShaheraShahid, attended as the Chief Guest.
The exhibition featured paintings centered around atrocities of Indian forces in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK) shedding light on the struggles faced by Kashmiris.
Additionally, a documentary produced by Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) Council, portraying the plight of Kashmiris was screened, followed by a special song produced by DEMP in accordance with the Kashmir Solidarity Day. The event also showcased various printed materials, including booklets and brochures, providing additional information and context during the exhibition.
The highlight of the Kashmir Solidarity Day commemoration was the speeches and the songs prepared by the students of Islamabad Model Girls School G-9/4.

The audience appreciated the performances of the young and enthusiastic students and applauded the event arranged by DEMP to commemorate Kashmir Solidarity Day in a befitting manner.
