Election Tribunal Judge Justice Ahmad Nadeem Arshad reserved a decision on the appeals of PTI leaders Jamshed Cheemaand his wife Musarat Jamshed Cheema against the rejection of their nomination papers by the returning officers.
The record was submitted by Returning Officer Constituency NA-122 in the court. Jamshed Iqbal Cheema and Musrat Jamshed Cheema filed appeals against the rejection of their nomination papers. The election appellate tribunal upheld the decision of the returning officer to reject the nomination papers of Miss Neelam Irshad Sheikh.The Appellate Tribunal of the Lahore High Court dismissed Miss Neelam Irshad Sheikh’s appeals against the rejection of her papers from constituencies NA NA-122 and PP-156. Judge of Appellate Tribunal of Lahore High Court Justice Tariq Nadeem accepted his appeal and annulled the returning officer’s decision to reject his nomination papers from PP 162. Malik Manzar Abbas Khokhar had submitted nomination papers to contest the election from Wapda Town, Johar Town, Stokatla and other areas.
