DC vows to achieve targets of Covid vaccine

Deputy Commissioner Badin, Agha Shahnawaz khan while presiding over an important meeting over the Covid vaccine in the district Badin has reviewed the progress of health teams formed for COVID-19 vaccines regarding the fixed targets & its achievements. DC Badin also took notice of the absence of the UCMOs and inquired the their reasons of absence in the meeting.

DHO Badin Dr. Imtiaz Ali Kaka while briefing the participants of meeting told there were some shortage of the Pfizer’s vaccine happened in yesterday when there was no shortage of other vaccines in the district. DC Badin asked health authorities that if there was shortage of Pfizer vaccines happened in the district than why did not inform district management as the timely availability of the vaccines to be assured it around.

DC Badin deplored that when we commenced the campaign of vaccines earlier in the first phase and that time we have achieved all targets within timeframe without budget provision adding he enunciated that currently in this campaign we have budget but unfortunately we were not on track.

He stressed the health teams and concerned authorities to take tangible efforts for achieving the targets adding he made clear that no any negligence to be tolerated in this connection.

He apprised that district Badin is on fifth no in across the province regarding the achievement of Covid vaccines adding he pleasured that there 65 pc people of the district Badin were fully vaccinated when we were striving for coverage of rest of the targets.

On the occasion, Dr. Imtiaz Ali Kaka, District Health Officer, district Badin, Husain Baloch, ADC-I Badin, Muhammad Younis Rind, Assistant Commissioner Badin, Dr. Kamil Memon, District Focal person for COVID-19, Abdul Ghafar Khoso, Deputy Director, Social Welfare Department, Dr. Karim Bux Gadahi, NSTOP Officer & others were also addressed the participants of the meeting.
