Additional charge of Matiari district has been given to Deputy Commissioner Shaheed Benazir Abad Shehryar Gul Maiman.Deputy Commissioner (DC) Matiari Muhammad Adnan Rashid has been directed to report and Assistant commissioner (AC) Mansoor Ali has been suspended.
Both officials are alleged for the wrong use of money given by National Highway Authority (NHA).NHA has given 4 billion 90 million to DC Matiari.On the name of buying land for 70km road they withdraw billion and 820 million from account and have transferred 4billon to other account and earned 540 million.Both officials are alleged for withdrawal of money from the account with the involvement of AC New Saeed Abad instead of giving the checks to the farmers.Sindh government formed a committee for further investigation of the matter.
Fact finding committee comprised of Additional Secretary Finance Shahmir Khan Bhutto and Secretary Sindh public service commission Nazir Qureshi.Committee has been directed to submit report of issue within three days.
