LAHORE – The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) on Friday sealed 28 businesses during operations against illegal commercial buildings and commercialization fees defaulters in Lahore.
LDA Town Planning Wing teams sealed 15 buildings in Gulberg and another 13 on Wahdat Road.
The sealed premises include Dar-e-Arqam School, Edu-Care, Bed & Beyond Furnishers, private clinic, private offices and other businesses.
LDA Director Town Planning Zone-III Sidra Tabassum supervised the operation in Gulberg. Director Town Planning Zone-II carried out the operation on Wahdat Road. The Police helped the enforcement teams.
As per the LDA officials, several notices were served to these buildings’ owners before carrying out the operations.
LDA Director General Tahir Farooq has directed continuing indiscriminate operations against illegal commercial buildings and commercialization fees defaulters in Lahore.
