Established in line with the directives of Additional IG Karachi Ghulam Nabi Memon at SSU Headquarters and under the supervision of DIG S&ESD Maqsood Ahmed, the Corona Welfare Center continues to facilitate and assist all serving and retired police officers/personnel and their families round the clock regarding coronavirus pandemic.
The welfare team of Security Division visiting various areas of three zones of the city guides the police personnel and the public about the precautionary measures to be taken against coronavirus.
The welfare team also assists police officers/personnel having corona symptoms for testing and treatment. The welfare team has screened more than 3,000 officers/personnel during ongoing month.
While, 1586 personnel have been tested for COVID-19 with the assistance of Welfare Center at Qatar Hospital.—INP
