Concern expressed over Kashmiri detainees’ plight in jails

In Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir, APHC leader and the Chairman of Jammu and Kashmir Democratic Political Movement, Khawaja Firdous, expressing concern over the plight of ille-gally detained Kashmiris, has said that the detainees have been deprived of all the basic facilities.

Khawaja Firdous in a statement issued in Srina-gar said that India was intentionally playing with the lives of detainees languishing in different jails of IIOJK and India.

Expressing concern over the deteriorating health of illegally detained Hurriyat leaders including Mu-hammad Yasin Malik, Shabbir Ahmad Shah, Masar-rat Alam Butt, Aasiya Andrabi and Fehmeeda Sofi, he said, these leaders are suffering from various ailments in jail but they are not being provided medical facilities.—KMS
