Learning from experiences of each other and appropriate use of technology brings excellence in education and enriches institutions said a joint statement issued by COMSATS University Islamabad and National Skills University.
Prof. Dr. Muhammad T. Afzal, Rector COMSATS University recently hosted a delegation of the National Skills University, led by Prof. Muhammad Mukhtar, Vice Chancellor NSU.
The objective of the visit was to agree upon sharing of academic resources among both public sector universities and conduct capacity building of newly formed NSU on a model which is mutually beneficial to both varsities.
Both universities vowed to collaborate on various fronts for technology-mediated instructional methodologies and institutional governance.
The NSU delegation was met by its CUI counterparts from the offices of Registrar, Controller of Examinations, Director Planning and Development, Treasurer and IT Services.
A brief presentation regarding the IT infrastructure of CUI as well as services outsourced to various other universities was arra-
nged.
CUI has developed its proprietary state-of-the-art Learning Management System & Modular University Governance System. For the past twenty years, this system has undergone several revisions to align with current needs.
