Traffic Police has unveiled a comprehensive traffic plan ahead of the upcoming Chand Raat and Eid festivities, aiming to ensure smooth traffic flow and enhance the experience for tourists visiting the region. Around 400 personnel, including DSPs and inspectors, have been deployed to manage the traffic effectively, particularly at tourist hotspots.

SSP Traffic Tariq Mehmood Khan has taken proactive measures to enhance the tourist experience during these festive days. Notably, all challans have been suspended at tourist places to ensure visitors from other cities leave with a positive impression. Additional personnel have been stationed at prominent tourist spots like Harno, Galiyat, and Bariyan, with a focus on providing guidance and necessary facilities to tourists heading towards Galiyat.

In anticipation of the increased tourist influx, all types of leave have been cancelled for traffic personnel, and office staff have been reassigned to duty.
