Commissioner for early completion of Rwp Safe City project

Commissioner Rawalpindi Division, Liaquat Ali Chatta here on Friday directed the authorities concerned to utilize all resources to complete the Rawalpindi Safe City project within the stipulated time frame.

Presiding over a meeting held here regarding Rawalpindi Safe City the Commissioner said that the project would be completed in two phases. He said that all-out efforts were being made for immediate activation of the Safe City system.

FWO representative, Director Development Nazia Sudhan, Shehzad Anwar from Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and other relevant officers attended the meeting. The deadline of January 30 had been set to make Safe City Project Rawalpindi functional, he informed.

The administration had given permission to FWO to cut the road, he said adding, road cutting work for power and network connectivity would be started from Saturday. The Safe City project will be completed in two phases.
