The weather forecast shows that the temperature will rise to 36 degrees Celsius with humidity levels approaching the red line. “Karachi weather is likely to stay hot during March 25-27 with maximum temperature 36-38 degrees Celsius,” the Met Department said in a press release on Thursday.
Humidity levels, too, are expected to rise with evening humidity hovering at 50%, just at the borderline.Humidity levels between 30% and 50% are considered comfortable; if it goes over 50% it is considered too high and below 30% is too low. The Met Office has forecast hot and sunny days in the city during the holy month of Ramazan. The direction of the winds is expected to change due to the formation of the high-pressure area near Afghanistan.
Hot and dry winds are expected from the northwest during the day, while the sea breeze is likely to return in the evening, said Sarfaraz.
