City reports 387 new Corona cases

As many as 10 more patients of Coronavirus died overnight lifting the death toll to 5,368 and 604 new cases emerged when 12,782 tests were conducted.

This was stated by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah in a statement issued here on Wednesday.

He added that 10 more patients of COVID-19 lost their lives lifting the death toll to 5,368 that constituted 1.6 percent death rate.

Shah said that 12,782 samples were tested which detected 604 cases that constituted 4.7 percent current detection rate.

According to the statement, out of 604 new cases, 387 have been detected from Karachi, including 152 from East, 92 Central, 68 South, Korangi and Malir 26 each and 23 West.

Badin has 36, Mirpurkhas 23, Thatta 20, Sanghar 16, Hyderabad and Sujawal 15 each. The chief minister urged people of the province to follow SOPs.
